An app for leaving your phone alone, by yourself or with one other person. Not a dashboard, not a score. A clearing that keeps the time you gave it.
Drag the stone up the trail and the number moves with it. Near the bottom is ten minutes, the top of the visible path is four hours. Distance, not a dial.
Your person stands further up the same path. You get exactly one bit about them: their lamp is lit, or it is not. No streaks, no leaderboard, nothing to answer for.
The currency is time. Finish a session and you earn minutes you can spend opening something later. Nothing to collect, nothing to buy with money.
Every screen is the same clearing at a different moment. One number, one action, and no chrome while a session runs.
There is no shame state in this app. Leaving a session early makes it rain, and the rain waters the clearing — nothing you planted disappears. You can always end your own session, immediately, without anyone's permission.
Blotti never asks for Screen Time access, so there is no report it could give you about yourself.
All your person can see is whether your lamp is lit. Not when you opened the app, not whether you left early.
Nothing to collect and nothing to keep up. One finished session plants one thing in the clearing.
Four states, all of them worked out from what the app already knows. None of them is a number about you.
Beta in Q3, launch in Q4. iOS first. Everyone on this list gets the beta invite before the store listing goes up.
No. There is no Screen Time permission, so there is no usage data to read. Blotti knows how long you asked for and whether you stayed. That is all it has.
You end the session, immediately, without asking anyone. There is also open time: minutes you earned from quiet sessions, spent to open something for five, ten or fifteen minutes.
One subscription per pair. Whoever hangs the second lamp pays for both; the invited side never sees a price. Alone is free.
